New Order in digital marketing

Data, Ideas, Interface, Live, Local, Mobile, Social

Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower. Steve Jobs

Marketing anything digital has its new rules. The basics are the same but the Order is completely different and they are all powered by six senses: social, local, mobile, live, interface and data.

Watch the short video about my take on the New Order in digital marketing and then download the e-book for further reading above. No email required, just feedback – positive or negative – because I am sure I’ve missed many other important trends for the digital marketing. Share your take. Cheers.

I’m an old school marketer trying to learn the new school marketing channels – not just what they are, but how to test them, evaluate ROI, and define the proper mix. I just watched your vimeo, and captured the vendor categories and vendors, and I’ll check those out, and I’ll download your e-book. Any other suggestions?

Hi Tom. The best way to learn new school marketing channels is to start experimenting and testing. Two best sources I can tell are; Avinash, The Digital Marketing Evangelist for Google – here is a search result for ‘ROI’ on his blog: http://www.kaushik.net/avinash/?s=ROI and Seth’s blog – http://sethgodin.typepad.com/. Good luck.
